Hi we have had our 10 day caravan holiday to North Wales cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic which was paid in full, the park has asked us to reschedule our dates within the next 12 months which we are happy to do so we have booked for the same time next year but they are charging us an extra £3.80 per night due to their annual increased charges should we be expected to pay this. Whilst we understand the reasons for the cancellation we feel that it is unfair for us to be charged the extra charges as this is rescheduled holiday. I hope this all makes sense. Can anyone offer some advice please.
Kind regards

You could play hardball and just ask for a refund instead.

I suppose the question is were you planning on going next year anyway?

if you are then you’ll have to pay the increased rate anyway so you’re no worse off really.
  • Thanks for your advice

You could ask them to waive the fee but for £40 is it really worth the effort or hassle?

I wouldn't have thought it is much hassle. A simple, polite email should suffice, they can only say no.
