Do Parcel Force collect from Post Office on Saturdays?

Sorry just quick question in the hope someone can answer tonight. I need to get a parcel sent off and normally to a drop off service to the post office. Are Parcel Force collecting saturdays or does it depend on the Post office?

From what I recall the answer is no. It's 2-3 years since I've used Parcelforce but as far as I know the only way to get a parcel in their system on a Saturday is to take it to one of their depots before noon. Even then it's pot luck whether it gets picked up to be delivered Tuesday or they'll leave it there to go out on Tuesday.

My local post office backs onto a sorting office & so parcels do get collected on Saturdays in this situation. It's lovely to get complimentary feedback from customers who bought on a Friday evening & were surprised to receive their item on the Monday.

But that is Royal Mail, which do get collected on Saturdays, and not Parcelforce which this query is about.

Parcels get collected every Saturday by Royal Mail regardless of a 'sorting office' being on the back.
Parcelforce is completely separate and have their own network.
