purchased a high value item and returned it within 1 day of receipt under sellers 7 day return policy . It was recived back to the seller on the 13thmay. I have been promised and promised countless times that a refund is coming today tomorrow today after 11am tomodrrow and to no avail .I have phoned him earlier and I have told him I am due a refund within 14 days of the receipt of the returns item .. he is now saying it will be 5- 7days for the refund to credit via bank transfer.. this will take the time period to 19/21 days after return

Little point in doing much just yet. If the refund doesn't arrive in the time specified, send a letter before action with the threat of small claims action. Trouble is, that could take many months because I believe there's a backlog.0
