Broken Tail Light Cover
Hi, I'm wondering if anybody could help/advise me?
I have been looking for a replacement rear left hand side (passenger) tail light cover for my Kia Sportage 2014. I have shopped everywhere and contacted several car garages etc who are unable to help me. Would anybody know where the best place to get a replacement would be?
The bulb is fine, it is literally just the plastic covering that has broken. I could change the cover myself but I am struggling to find a replacement part from anywhere.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Many Thanks

You will need the whole cluster £55-£75 on ebay.0

You almost certainly can't separate the lens from the "structure" of the rear light - it'll just be a single unit.
There may be differences between ostensibly similar lights, depending on the precise age of your car, since the Sportage was facelifted during 2014.

It's a shame because the old boy who used to be in the parts department was a fantastic bloke. When I needed a thermostat housing for my Capri and asked him he instantly knew a Ford Sierra one you could still order would fit, that it would need a blanking plug for the extra outlet on it the Capri didn't have and ordered both for me.0 -

it would have been worth it if you made a comment about the difference between fitters and parts desk🤣
But a rear cluster and lense is bonded So you can separate and re bond but it’s time consuming and you can’t get a lense without the cluster.1 -

It's quite easy to take them apart and get out the PCB strip that has the bulb holders on. But then again unlike you I've actually done it and not just done a search on google to see if it could be done and stopped at the first result I got.

They've broken the lens. The lens and body are simply not available as separate parts. They are a bonded unit. Yes, it might perhaps be possible to separate the lens from the body without breaking things worse... but can you buy a lens alone? No.
And a second-hand light from eBay is about £50.1
