Probably agree, seagulls. They have a nasty hooked beak that shreds anything. Gave a friend, two weeks ago, some nice parsley plants grown from seed. I potted them up in pretty pink paper cups, my mistake. They ate the parsley them shredded the pots to line their nest, along with the compost. We have to use umbrellas if we go out as the seagulls have nested in our roofs and dive onto us as we go by. One local ended up in A @E with split skin on his bald head being attacked by a seagull. Picnic in garden banned until babies have flown.1

Probably the seagull took the whole thing and then threw the pot away. The soil and plant will be somewhere nearby - I hope not blocking your guttering.

Lol i hope not in the guttering! Two wings indeed! We don't normally have seagulls around, but all it takes is one terror seagull lol that hooked beak sounds severe, wouldn't like to get on the wrong end of that!0
