I wish to lend my support to Amelia campaign to have Parkdean do some refunds for loss of facilities during lockdown. Parkdean are saying owners will get zilch refund whilst they have claimed government support! We as owners need a collective fight on this as there are thousands of owners out there!

My furniture is in storage. I’m living in an Airbnb. As soon as the lockdown was announced the storage/removal company emailed to say that they were closing until further notice. We had an offer accepted on a house that we wanted to buy before the lockdown started and a date to move with the storage/removal company was agreed. Unfortunately the date on the house we were to move to was 10 days after the lockdown. Both our storage/removal company and the people who’s house we are buying storage/removal company are members of the British Association of Removers.
BAR told members not to move anyone during lockdown. Our storage company is still charging us the full storage rates as well as us paying our Airbnb rent.
we are still in lockdown in Scotland. Are the storage company within their rights to charge us full price for storage. I suspect that their workers are furloughed.1 -
