Back to work

I have now returned to work last Monday after 6 weeks on furlough. I got my first full wage today. A flat week wage £75 more than i was getting for staying at home. I am glad to be back at work but not really happy that over half my colleagues are staying on furlough.

There's a lot of people that have no job to return to. I think you should be glad that you have a job. Sorry but you can't stay home and receive 80% of your pay forever.

Should be glad your one of the first back, if jobs are going to be made redundant. You can guess who will be the first one out the door. They would have brought the best staff back first.2

And indeed you are highlighting the thoughts of some who have been working throughout the entire period whilst having colleagues on furlough.
At this point when companies are bringing workers back, I'd be more worried about being one of those left on furlough rather than being called back.

This this is going to be the case for many others but I do echo they feel you are valuable to the business and that is why you are there now. Might not mean much to you at the moment but trust me it might come in useful in the future.
