HI i just moved to a flat. The TV reception is sporadic at best and we have been needing to re-tune it every few days. I have tried to look online and all the sockets seem to be wired in and the live wire connected ? Does this look normal ? Any advice would be great thank you.

The aerial cable should be connected to what you are holding in your hand0

Hi,if you take off the cover with the wee sticker on it you will see the fixings.0

The bit with the arrows is the cable clamp , screws holding that in place . Separate screws for the other cover mentioned.
Your TV aerial is the wire with the copper centre already exposedEx forum ambassador

Loosen the grey bit with arrows on, there should be a small hole which the solid copper cable fits into, tighten the grey bit to hold the cable in. I'd suspect the arrow pointing into the box shows the correct hole. There's no current in the aerial cable.0
