Online order mistake in price....refund Curry’s PC world

Options
I know this relates to distance selling etc, but with a slight issue.
last Thursday my daughter (16) notice Curry’s Pc world were selling a MacBook cheaper than normal.
the price on the website was £999....order placed for next day delivery...£5 ...expect delivery next day....dispatch email etc.
so late on Thursday curry’s have cancelled the order because of a pricing error.....ok that’s fine....we haven’t lost out.
the transaction was showing as pending on the credit card and we expected this to fall off.....
However it appears ( confirmed by Halifax credit card )...that curry’s have taken the money, and as of today we are still awaiting the money back....
email from curry’s ( automated ) says they are checking the product and will issue refund shortly.
After trying to get through on phone today ( 60 mins )...the refund is still processing and should arrive in another 5 / 7 days.

What if any are my rights here....
Currys have taken the money..( not pending on account ) and they seem in no hurry to refund it.

thanks for any help

Which has already elapsed....just to be clear, I’m not after any freebies or anything....we would like our money back ( and it appears I have to wait even more )...
Curry’s own T&C’s state they can cancel the order right up to the dispatch phase....however we had a order dispatch email and reference number from DPD....so it sounds like they recalled order right at the last moment.....the order was returned to curry’s from DPD and they are inspecting the return....

I'm not sure what more you can do beyond chasing them.  You could try notifying your card company so perhaps you don't accrue any interest in the meantime (if your card is one of those where interest is calculated and added daily)

They’re on minimal office staff and have to process them manually with hardly any manpower available - due to that whole pandemic thing someone mentioned on the news recently. :)

My understanding is that refunds should be made within 14 days. It’s only been 7 days
