I've got a booking to the Maldives in August 2020 (only holiday I've ever booked way in advance as normally leave it to the last minute to book!) and due to pay remaining balance of over £4500 next week. I'm not hopeful it will happen and don't really want to deal with the hassle and uncertainty of the will it be cancelled/no refund/vouchers instead of refund rigmarole. At the moment I'm thinking of cancelling and losing the deposit but was hoping they might be able to move it to summer 2021. I've tried contacting them via social media & email but no response and their phone lines are not operational. My current feeling is that they are not the most customer service orientated company which also leads me to think about cancelling.

Has anyone had any success in contacting them to move their holiday to a later date (I'm hoping for July 2021)?

I am in the same position I am due to go to the Maldives in September and my balance is due on 5th July, not sure what to do for the best, Apparently customers who complain about their lack of support are being blocked on their official Facebook page, there is a Facebook group that someone has setup called Destination2 disgruntled customers, someone may be able to give you more help there, but as it stands it looks like they are offering credit notes valid till Dec 2020 if you’re holiday is cancelled and you do manage to speak to someone, if you are not able to travel you can apply for a refund after 31st October but not sure how that is going to pan out, I guess they will make it hard to claim the refund.
