Too fast? My car won't sit any lower at idle in 1st gear. That's not too fast at all, it's barely quicker than walking speed.

The land owner should have insurance so just contact them with your claim as the first time. You unfortunately need to inform your own insurance company too.

So what speed would you recommend for driving into a hole?
