In app purchase refund

my 5 year old has spent in excess of £1100 on in app purchases on my iPad. They have their own iPad with all the security set up but used mine unknown to me. I have contacted apple support and they say as per the terms and conditions they won't refund me. Given the current situation money is tight and how can they justify 11 purchases of £99.99 in a short space of time. Any suggestions very welcome!!

Moral of the story:  Do not leave payment details set up on any account or device that you then let a five year old use it, because this is what happens.

    That being said:

I'd suggest don't let your five year old use your iPad again when they have their own.
