    I'd just put all my money into a current account that doesn't pay any interest today. I don't see why an account not paying interest when rates are positive would magically start charging interest when they drop below zero.

    They might do it another way with account charges just for having an account with the bank. Happens in other countries even for accounts wholly in credit.
