Ive got 250 free shares from the B&B i now would like to sell them so contacted them. They send me a form to sell my shares but on the form it says to sell 250 shares at 25p each .. i thought that the shares would sell at the price they are on the day of sale.. is this correct or will they sell my shares at 25p each instead of around £2.80 ish.. tried ringing them but got put on hold so many times had to hang up as was going out..

Are you sure that it does not say:-
To sell 250 25p shares.
These would then be sold at todays price................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
it says .... complete this section if you wish to sell 250 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the bradford and bingley plc.
does this still mean it will be at todays price ???Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Shares always have a nominal value, which in your case seems to be 25p a share. This is not the amount you get for them, but the amount they were worth when they were issued.
If you have concerns about this you should sell them over the phone where you will be given the exact price for the sale. If the B&B phone line leaves you hanging on then you can use any stockbroker, as long as you have a share certificate for the shares.0 -

B&B pay a 5.6% dividend, that's why I'm still holding my free 250.
Maybe if they get to the 330-350 area I will contemplate selling.0
