Expanding foam

I noticed quite a few discussions about removing expanding foam from plastic. I've just filled some gaps with the stuff, I'm not a builder and I got it everywhere. When I looked about how to remove it I thought oops. I just let it cure and scraped it off with a ruler. It came straight off. I hope this helps someone having the same problem.
