We travelled to Morocco with Tui on 14th March - FCO advice was that it was safe to travel and, therefore, if we hadn't we would have lost our money. However, the borders were closed by the Moroccan authorities on 15th March and we were repatriated (eventually!) on 17th March. We put in a claim for curtailment with our insurers for a refund for the partial loss of 3 nights but they have said we are not covered. When I've spoken to Tui (also eventually!) I have been told that it is a separate department dealing with curtailment which does not accept inbound calls. Does anyone else have experience of this?

Have they said why you aren't covered ?0

If you paid TUI direct with a credit card that's another option if both refuse to pay out.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

You need to check your policy and see what criteria they have for curtailment.0
