Thermostat is in wrong place

My thermostat is in a cupboard so I have to set it to a really high temperature to get the living room warm, I’m renting so can’t move it. Can you get wireless thermostats that don’t need changing on the wall? Any other ideas would be welcomed too!

You can get a wireless thermostat that you can site anywhere,  but it'll come with a receiver box that you'll have to wire in place of the cupboard thermostat.  You obviously reverse the installation when your tenancy ends. It involves mains voltage wiring,  so best to use an electrician.

As above  Screwfix have them .

My sender unit is in the cupboard replacing thermostat .Wired to a mains socket and thermostat wiring .

Battery driven actual thermostat is movable .

Why don't you ask the landlord if you can move it? It will be an improvement to their property so i don't see them having an issue if you do it properly.

My wireless thermo is totally programmable for temp and on/off hours plus over ride etc, fully electronic. 

I wouldn't be without it. It was origionally mounted on a back plate in the hall but now follows me around like a well loved pet.

You can always take it with you when you move.
