Second hand car

I purchased a second hand car from sales garage and 3 week later fault occurs. I contacted seller who told me they would sort when garages open up again. This same issue has occurred several times since resulting on 1 occasion missing work. Could you advise my rights on this issue please. TIA

Ideally, stop using it until the garage can look at it. If there's no one at the garage at the moment I can't see how you can reject it in the normal sense. Contact the seller in writing outlining the problem, stop using the car in the meantime and get it to them as soon as they open. If you continue using it and make the fault worse, they may not be liable for the consequences.
What's the fault?0 -
Car goes into limp mode0

Your rights, expectations and remedies all relate to what car, price and warranty.
Second hand 2020 Pagani on 10 miles an awful lot of rights, expectations and warranty
Second hand 1980 Fiesta on 250k miles not so much and anyone telling you different is in reality pandering
Anything inbetween on a sliding scale, if you’d like lucid answers you’ll need to give details.0 -
Above post makes very little sense again .

I disagree ... I think it makes perfect sense. Expectations on quality are directly related to the age and nature of the goods and the price paid. Therefore some faults on an old, high mileage vehicle will be down to wear and tear, thus consumer rights regarding such faults will be limited.JJ_Egan said:Above post makes very little sense again .

Not aware of ever interacting with them so no back story whatsoever, everyone’s got an opinion they’ve shared theirs.DoaM said:

I think the reason for the "back story" comment was this:Anthony147 said:

Not aware they have but if that’s their opinion of the post or any previous one so be it.shaun_from_Africa said:
