Radio Times Subscription

It seemed such a good idea in these times of lockdown to take out a subscription to the Radio Times. Not so. During the past weeks I have only received one copy on time. One didn't materialise at all and the others have arrived on the Wednesday or Thursday (and once on Friday) of the valid week. What good is that if it can only be used for one or two days. Is anyone else experiencing these problems. I appreciate that the post is all over the place but this is ridiculous.

There's something wrong with your post.  I have a substription to RT.  Recently, they have been arriving later than usual - sometimes as late as the Thursday or Friday before they are due to start.  I have never had one actually arrive late.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Thanks. I could accept 'late' but it does bizarre that the postal system seems to be delivering things over a week late. All other 'expected' mail has arrived when expected.

The last two weeks  it has taken 8 days for a second class envelope to arrive.

I think this is a bit of a broad statement, it may apply to the posters area
Here in the HU17 area, we have noticed no apparent delays in mail delivery.
Don't know about the rest of the country but we are still getting post and parcels on a Saturday

I'm in the south - BH21 area. Post is being delivered every day apart from Saturdays now. Still no sign of this weeks Radio Times though! Even if it arrives tomorrow (Friday) it will only be valid for half a day!

You could set up an account and report it. I did this recently when my copy was missed and I got a response straight away. If a copy is missed, they will amend your renewal date.

No problems with mail at my end. In fact, service has improved if anything. And that includes my delivery of the good old Radio Times, about which we had an epic, not to be repeated I hope, thread on these Forums last month.
Overall I think we can send the following to the Post Office

Thank you. I guess it’s just different in different parts of the country. I’ll hold on and hope that the post will catch up with itself soon. We are in difficult times.
