LTSB ppi question

Hi all
On a cc statement it says ...LLOYDS TSB AS CVR...now my question is...was this a PPI? I filed for a PPI and have only just got statements through the debt firm who bought the debt ages ago, there is a £5.95 monthly charge. LTSB replied in Jan saying no PPI against my accounts. Any advice would be really appreciated.

PPI complaints are now over and you've already been told you didn't have any. A £5.95 monthly charge would not be PPI because that insurance was a variable amount which was charged based on the outstanding balance.
In addition, if your account was sold on (because you defaulted) any outstanding debt would be offset against any refund in any case2 -
