Ticketmaster refund

Had Westlife tickets (for missus honestly!) booked in Southampton for July - booked through Ticketmaster.  Received confirmation that concert has been cancelled a good few weeks ago but still no refund.
I have sent a refund request through to Ticketmaster as well but heard nothing?
Anyone in same boat or got any idea how long they take to process refunds?

In similar situation - concert on 11 June 2020 now recheduled for June 2021. I'd rather the cash back as I'm probably going to be away then so filled in their refund form. They've said refund should be made by the end of June 2020.

we had one cancelled that was due in June 2020 - it took a few weeks but refund went back onto the credit card eventually.
i suspect with it being gig/festival season, they are a lot busier than usual with all the cancellations/postponements

We had booked to see Lion King. We got an email mid March to say the event on 18th April was cancelled and would be refunded. Got another email mid April to say no action required but to be patient. Finally today we received the refund

I had booked tickets for Disney's Lion King in Edinburgh Playhouse on 9th January 2020 at the cost of £250+. The event was scheduled for 22 March 2020.

I received a confirmation email from Ticketmaster on 18th March 2020 advising the event had understandably been cancelled.  The email included the following:
"Given the extraordinary circumstances, our refund process is taking slightly longer than usual. You don’t need to do anything; please rest assured we are working through these as quickly as possible and will issue a refund for your tickets to the method of payment you used to buy your tickets."
I therefore did as asked.... Nothing.

However, I received a peculiar follow up email from Ticketmaster about tickets I had booked in April (which wasn't the case).  So, worried that they had mixed up my order, I contacted them with a refund request and received a confirmation email 13th April 2020.  Still no response. I sent another one 13th May 2020 (I figured 4 weeks was more than enough time to deal with the request) but once again I've still had no response.

I took to Twitter and contacted a couple of the Ticketmaster accounts and have been sending polite requests to review my claim for a refund for the last 4 weeks but have gotten absolutely nowhere. I even timed the tweet to ensure it was the first one they saw but for some reason they by-passed my tweet and replied to the someone who posted after me.  Talk about making someone paranoid!!

Today 24th May 2020 I have still not received a refund or response.  I'm not sure what else I can do as we are now in the 10th week since the event was cancelled beginning to think I won't be refunded.

    Suggestions welcome.

  • I received a refund today for a cancelled event that was planned for August.
The cancellation was announced over two weeks ago on 13/5 and even now have received no emails about the refund nor cancelled event. I took to Twitter to ask and got a copy/paste response with a link so gave up and waited.
I did not get my handling fee refunded nor postage refunded.
