Funds - platform availability

hi,
is there a website that allows you to enter a fund/s and it will tell you which platforms it's available on?

All the major mainstream fund platforms have an extremely wide range available.  The fund must be pretty obscure or not generally available if it is not on your platform.  If you really want a missing fund the platform may be prepared to add it to their list for you.

If you search for a fund on google, then often you will see results from the platforms that hold it .
So a kind of indirect search but I can not vouch for how well it works and no doubt the bigger platforms will come higher up the search results .

If you pick a whole of market platform then you would expect to have all funds except where there may be trading restrictions.

    Thank you.

However, I’ve ready the issue with these is that they don’t offer the whole market. In some cases, only push the products they have a vested interest in.

    Nope.

hl may have a list of funds which they favour due to discounts from providers but if you know what you are looking for you will find it on one of the platforms mentioned by Alber.

Why does it matter what the platform favours.  You make your own choice. What cant you find on the listed platrforms?

Pretty much all platforms are whole of market nowadays.

That could mean two things and you should not mix them up.

A whole of market platform is just that.   WHOLE OF MARKET.

If its not whole of market then it will not be whole of market.

However, marketing exists with many DIY platforms whether they are whole of market or not.

Then you have providers that are not platforms who are usually not whole of market and can only offer a limited selection.  These can include only their own brand offerings.
