Ferry Dover to Calais in July

Hi all , hope you can help. We are booked on the above. It's a saver ticket meaning that it can't be cancelled, well you can but if we cancel then we lose the money £150.00. Already been offered a re-book for later in the year which is no use to us as we don't plan on going to France again this year. The re-book we were offered is only valid for this year and can't be carried over to 2021. Should we wait till the ferry company cancel and tell us we can't travel and if this is the case should we then be due a refund?
thanks

If a voucher is no good then all you can do is wait, if it's cancelled you get the £150 back if it's not you lose the £150.CaravanPete said:Hi all , hope you can help. We are booked on the above. Travel insurance could be another option.

The problem is the ferries are still operating, less frequently than normal but full of freight. The fact you might not be allowed into France, or from tomorrow might have to self isolate for 14 days when you get back is of no concern to the ferry companies, so a voucher is probably the best you can hope for0
