Refund claim declined by Easyjet

Hi. My flights only booking with Easyjet were cancelled by Easyjet. ( I have Email to confirm). I followed the guidelines by completing a compensation claim online. After waiting 5 weeks on a reply Easyjet have now emailed me telling me my request for refund has been declined. What can I do? I dont want a voucher nor I dong want to rebook another flight

You are about the 5th person to have posted this morning, and it looks like all of you have filled the wrong form in. You have filled the EU compo form in. This isnt a EU compo case. Go and fill in the normal refund form.1

I think people are mistaking refunds for compensation. You should get a refund but you won't get any compensation.0

Anyone who has filled in the EU261 compensation form will get refused, that form will go to the team that deal with compensation, and it isn't due.
