Travel Direct Debits

I have a holiday booked in 2021 with TUI. I set up a direct debit to help me budget but have decided that I'd rather use a standing order to my own savings account instead rather than pay TUI every month. I can't get through to TUI. If I cancel my direct debit through my bank without notifying TUI will this effect my credit rating? I have paid my full deposit and will pay in full by the due date but I'd rather not pay them every month in case they go just etc.

If you have paid your deposit in full then the balance is not due until 12 weeks before your holiday.
I cannot see any issues in cancellation of the DDEx forum ambassador
