Moving Business Account From Barclays - RECOMMENDATIONS ?

I've had a Business Bank Account with Barclays for 22 years.
The way they have treated me in the last 6 weeks with total contempt is the final straw
Im going to move to a different bank.
Any recommendations ?
Thinking I will avoid one of the new banks such as Tide
Maybe Co-op ?
What do you guys think ?

I think you might have to wait a while. Lloyds told me that they are not opening any new business accounts at the moment due to staff being re-employed in other areas.
Some of the web only ones might be able to open an account for you but make sure that they are suitable for you - eg if your business is cash heavy or you need to pay in a lot of cheques etc.0 -
I use Starling and depending on your company size they are free0

I’d steer clear of Co-Op tbh. Took weeks for the account to be opened, and the functionality is poor. No app access for business accounts - only online and only with the token, so effectively could only bank while at home.I’m using Barclays quite happily for my business account though so no helpful alternative recommendation, I’m afraid.0

We've just switched our business account to TSB - 25 months free with them for switchers.
Smooth process and all done, though we've hardly used it yet so can't comment on how well it works.

A second edit to add: Tide, btw, seem fairly good but they STILL after many years, can't offer IBAN - so can't, for example, be used to take Amazon Pay payments. A show-stopper for us.
First edit to add; we've done the rounds over several years with business account switching offers - mainly to keep costs down.
Always trad banks so far.
The challenger banks don't quite fit what we need - we have a mix of online, occasional foreign, miscellaneous cheques, sometimes cash etc - and the app-based banks aren't so good at the full mix as the trad ones.
One or two, like Starling, appear to fit the bill, then they say they can't 'do' partnership businesses - just sole traders or companies.
Which is a bit snotty of them and completely useless to us.0 -
i you want my advice i wouldn't even consider switchung business accounts in the current climate.0
