Hi All, I recently bought a Laptop online from Amazon but from one of their 3rd party sellers. The purchase went well and it arrived ahead of schedule.
On opening and checking the laptop it was a much lower spec than the one I ordered. ( less powerful processor, less memory, smaller hard drive)
I contacted Amazon whose only option was to ask for a refund. This was approved but not yet actioned.
My issue is that the company I bought the laptop from is still advertising the laptop I purchased but it's now £110 more expensive.
I have emailed the company direct outlining the problems and asking for the laptop they sent to me be exchanged for the one I ordered and paid for. The company has failed to respond to my emails.
Am I asking too much for the item I saw online, ordered and paid for to be delivered to me? They have sent me an inferior product, which is currently being advertised for £150 less than I paid.
Do I have any legal recourse if they refuse to provide me with the correct item I paid for?
Thanks in advance .
Ian

In these current times don't bother trying to get too clever. Return the laptop and get your money back.1
