Ryanair Refund via PayPal Success

If you booked a Ryanair flight via PayPal, I urge you to claim back for cancellations via PP - I had my refund confirmed twice by Ryanair, and as many, was then offered a voucher. I raised a claim with PP last month and sent a copy of the refund confirmation form from RA - and I got the refund agreed yesterday. You have to open a case in the PP resolution centre. I have to say, for all PP's faults, fees etc, they've been great twice for me with resolutions of cases. Good luck!

  • no help from paypal:
According to EU regulation 261 for the refund you need to contact the airline directly.
This is the reason it is not covered from our buyer protection policy and this regulation was designed to be enforced by airlines operating in EU countries.

    Hello,
That's great news. Could you add more detail about how you did this please as I would like to do the same? What initial choice did you choose (e.g. good not arrived) and what were your reasons in the statement bit?.Thank you

Just a note to people. If you booked more than 6 months ago, PayPal won't help. I booked my June flights in October. PayPal cancelled my dispute within seconds of me submitting it.

PayPal is usually useless when dealing with flight cancellation. I’m glad your found otherwise though! Best way is paying on credit card if you can
