Ant difference in tarrifs between the manual meter and smart meter ones

My point was it was not the sort of tarrif that in any way requires a smart meter. (as far as I can see).I was not saying it was not TOU. All tarrifs are TOU if you want to argue that far.The type of TOU that smart meter could bring is very different. I have yet to see one.But of course smart meters are the governments thing. The one feature I look forward to and is not even on the horizon yet is the ability to switch supplier for a few hours at a time. For example, occasionally using a different supplier overnight to charge a car when there's an offer on.0 -
