Whistleblowing to members

Hi
Upo until Friday I was the chief officer for a membership charity, reporting to a management committee of trustees. I raised an issue with them whereby they had held trustees meetings outside their Rules, which stated meetings had to be held at least every 3 months - they had meetings with a longer interval period than 3 months. At these meetings they made decisions about membership status - some members were thrown out and some were downgraded in status. Apart from my status and having been victimised, I think the members should be told about what has happened.
Assuming I don't libel anyone can I email members to tell them (I had no contract so no specific bar on it)?
Thanks

Be careful of the GDPR. You may well not have lawful access to the mailing list. You may of course know some of the members personally and they may know others.........0

Interesting - thanks for the reply. One of the things I'm going to do then for for is their non-GDPR compliance. But I suppose 2 wrongs don't make a right.
