Cosmetic Surgery deposit refund due to coronavirus

I booked a tummy tuck with Transform (part of the Hospital Group) and they encouraged me to cancel a couple of days before my pre op appointment which was before lockdown promising me a refund. Then 30 days later they went back on their word and told me I wouldn’t be getting a refund and they were keeping my deposit. They said all my emails and calls promising a refund of which there were many were not relevant as they should not have been sent or promised despite me being led into cancelling. I’m so upset and don’t trust them anymore to continue with them. Is anyone else in the same situation as me?

Can you clarify whether they are cancelling full stop and keeping your deposit or they are postponing until post lockdown?
