Side Porch

Hello
I have an existing side porch which is brick and glass. I would like to convert it to all brick as it is too hot in the summer. Do I need to knock it down and start again or can I build on existing bricks? Thank you

The bricks yes but who knows about the actual foundation, a test pit would need digging. Changing the windows for solid white upvc, or tinting the windows may be the cheaper option.
