I have had an account with the Bank of Ireland for years, but have just got off the phone with after spending two days trying to get them to refund a charge of £35 pounds for a "returned " Direct Debit that they themselves told me only the day before they hadnt got set up!!!...aparantly they wont refund as they and I quote "Had done everything they could"...I have asked the the desion and the reasoning behind it to be sent to me in writing.....they are a disgrace!!!
