Seeing someone else’s mortgage on profile

I move into a house and basically the landlord and myself have the first name, month of birth and year of birth.
I checked my profile and I can see his mortgage as it shows his full name on it and I can also see some searches for mortgages as I know he’s looking to buy another house... what’s the best thing to do?

Raise a dispute with the CRA(s) in question.2

I have done, but this is scary. Clearly there is an error on their system and this has affected my credit worthiness.0

It's not that scary. It'll be sorted.0

Breach of the Data Protection Act. Their records have been linked to yours, and therefore you can see them, which is illegal. Perhaps he can view your records too?
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
i raised the dispute with equifax, (we see it via a 3rd party) as we haven't purchased a recent equifax one we can't raise the dispute? how crazy is that...... what a way to waste more time and money.0

I did the 30 days free trial....
It clearly shows on my credit profile the other persons name.... It's crazy....
It shows two mortgage searches in their name
their old British gas accounts (settled)
and their mortgage...
all in my account.0 -
It's just a mixed file that can happen when people share such similar markers as the both of you, do at the same address.Once an investigation is completed, the CRA will apply filters so in the future, the records don't mix.You will need to check all of the CRA's to ensure there is no mixup with those too? If so, you will have to inform each so they can ammend their respective records.Your's is just an unforunate circumstance.Good luck!0

thanks.... I raised everything with equifax and they said they have to contact the lenders as its not their fault....
I said you can clearly see your system has put it in the wrong profile... It has their name on the account.... not mine....0
