I have searched the forum but don't see anything similar so here goes.
My outbound flight to Lisbon has been cancelled on 5th June, return is still going as planned at the  moment.
TAP are refusing a cash refund and are adement that it has to be a voucher. I am not in a position to accept a voucher as the trip won't be rescheduled. I already had to book an internal flight from Glasgow to Heathrow with BA which has been cancelled and a refund is being processed. Air BnB have refunded our accommodation also.
Can anyone please advise on best course of action with TAP given the refusal for a refund and tell me that their refund policy is "aligned with proper legislation"!
Should I just go straight to my insurance company on this?

As long as you booked a return then as long as outbound is cancelled the return leg doesn't matter  your booking is cancelled.
You can try your insurance company  but some are refusing because of vouchers (personally don't agree with that)

Better bet might be you payment card.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.
