Disney World Florida Trip - What are my rights to cancel?
Hi All
Hopefully this is being posted in the right place.
We have a package holiday through Virgin Holidays planned 20th July that has so far not been cancelled, although we were due to fly out of Gatwick which I assume is being changed to Heathrow now (no specifics from Virgin yet). Whilst we may be allowed to fly and Disney World may open in time for 20th July, it is highly likely they will have many things with limited capacity and/or still closed. My question is, will I have a right to cancel or expect my price to lower if this is the case?
Thank you in advance for any help/guidance.
Rikki

At this time you have the right to cancel but you will lose the money you have paid.
Would there be room to negotiate a lower price no I’m not sure there would be. You would still be getting your flights and accommodation which is the bulk of the cost. Parks might open on a restricted access and of course the tickets only need to admit your entrance into the park.
I don’t believe you will be going on the 20th July in any event so I would hold off for a little longer and then if Virgin cancel you will be entitled to a full refund. Did you book the park tickets with virgin too?

Pop into your Pending tray.
Virgin Holidays are cancelling trips up to 6 June at the moment. I expect a creeping time frame. Not much to be done at this moment unless you are willing to lose out financially.0 -
