Sainsbury's Loan Payment Freeze

Furious to have received a default letter and fine after submitting a payment freeze request 6 times! Their system isn't acknowledging the request but I got a message saying it had been received. My direct debit is still in place but they didn't take my payment so I just assumed they'd applied the freeze and I would eventually get confirmation. 3 weeks after the payment was due a get a default letter, a late fee and in checking my credit score it's gone down by 30 points! (No other reason than this) Sat on phone for an hour to be fobbed off and told to ask for a credit file adjustment. Like we all need this extra stress!
