Jet2 Admin Fee Charged Twice

On the 2nd February 2020 I booked a family holiday for 7 people travelling in May to Tenerife, total cost £4564.00
In April 2020 I noticed that the same holiday was now substantially cheaper so I contacted Jet2holidays and agreed to amend the original booking, changing the departure date and arrival date by 1 day earlier. This altered the cost by £833.74 in my favour. After Jet2holidays deducted their £280 non-refundable admin fee (£40.00 p/person) I was refunded £553.74.  After this deduction the new total holiday cost was therefore £4,010.26
However, the refund that Jet2holidays subsequently paid me due to their cancellation of the holiday because of Coronavirus pandemic was only £3,730.26, not £4.010.26 as I was
expecting.
They had deducted the £280 admin fee a second time. In my opinion, because they deducted the admin fee from the amendment refund they have no right to charge it again.
I contacted them but they say the fee is non-refundable but I argue that it was paid in the first instance as part of the net refund.
Advice please??
Thanks in advance.

the total holiday cost to you may be £4,010.26 but that is made up of a £3,730.26 holiday plus a £280 non-refundable admin fee
you said new holiday was £833.74 cheaper than your original £4,564 holiday = cost £3,730.26
If they deducted it twice the offer would be £280 less than the holiday cost
