Sharp TV poor signal

I have an issue that is not only frustrating the heck out of me but is also costing me a log of money.
I have had a new TV aerial fitted and a new powered splitter fitted.
Three weeks later lightning hit the aerial and blew the power box on the aerial and also the powered splitter in the attic. So had to have both changed out to a total cost including first aerial fitting of £450.
So was assured 100percent reception.
Now however the TV in one bedroom is getting 60 percent strength and full quality but the Sharp TV is only getting 15 percent strength but again good quality.
I have tried changing outputs on each TV but makes no difference to the sharp TV.
Q...could it possibly be the TV itself
Would appreciate any advise as it's driving me bonkers. Have also checked the receiver but no issues there.
One further point is that at times I get 100 strength on both TVs and then it drops again
Best regards
Mick

If the lightning strike did that much damage it might have also damaged the coaxial cables and wall sockets. Did they replace all that as well?1

Hi Mister G
No they did not replace the cars however I went and replaced one my self to see if this would work and no better. It just appears to be this one TV the Sharp model. The TV is now coming up to three years old so may buy a better model as the sony in the other bedroom on same link has no issues at all.0 -
Can you swap them to test ??

Have done so today. Sony was fine. Sharp was not. So seems it is the TV that is the issue.
Many thanks for the replies.0 -
It is entirely possible that the lightning strike fried the tuner. Stranger things have happened!

Not if you read the OP
