Barrier strips or terminal strips. Which depends on manufacture/country.
All the usual electronic/electrical supplies will sell them0 -

Are there connectors you can get that would fit in normal choc blocks?
Or is it just a case of looping some wire between them?0 -
These are effectively a type of Busbar, you connect the barrier strip in one side of the terminal block.
And in the instance you've pictured above, for power distribution you could have one +ve supply in the top at the other side which would then allow you to use the other 7 as +ve outlets.
What is it you're trying to achieve ? This ?

I guess I just have to weigh up the effort to do this with what I have (free but time to do it) or spend £14 odd and get a set of 5.0
