Name of these Terminal Blocks?

Options
Does anyone know the name of these?

And if they're available relatively cheaply (not from Amazon?)

Thanks

Barrier strips or terminal strips. Which depends on manufacture/country.
All the usual electronic/electrical supplies will sell them

    Thanks.

Are there connectors you can get that would fit in normal choc blocks?

Or is it just a case of looping some wire between them?

These are effectively a type of Busbar, you connect the barrier strip in one side of the terminal block.

And in the instance you've pictured above,  for power distribution you could have one +ve supply in the top at the other side which would then allow you to use the other 7 as +ve outlets.

What is it you're trying to achieve ?  This ?

You can make the choc bloc method a bit more robust by crimping ferrules onto the wires rather than using bare wires.

    Yeah, pretty much.
I guess I just have to weigh up the effort to do this with what I have (free but time to do it) or spend £14 odd and get a set of 5.
