Non-dependants UC claim - help needed

Nearly losing the will to complete this form.  Where on earth on the form does it allow me to put in the details of my non-dependent daughter who lives with us.  The only page I have is as follows:

Children who live with you

To apply for Universal Credit for your children you or your partner must be the main carer. If you share childcare with an ex-partner, you must agree between you who is the main carer.

You can only apply for children who are:
  • living with you
  • under 20 years old
Include:
  • children, step-children and adopted children you or your partner are responsible for
  • children whose parents do not live with you or your partner
Do not include:
  • foster children
  • children who are away, and who will be away for 6 months or more
  • children whose parents or carers also live with you or your partner
How many children do you or your partner want to apply for?

Clearly she is not a child under 19 but if I put 0 in the form that's it.

Titch :)

This is the bit I'm trying to answer - other people.  But it just takes me to the children's page in my post above.

    Who lives with you

    Children (aged 0-19)

You/your partner have 0 children living at the household.

    Other people

You have no other people living with you.

See full Who lives with youdetails (opens in new window)

Are these Who lives with youdetails correct?
    Yes
    No, change this

If they are older than 19 I think they should be included in the Other people who live with you section.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

The same advice was previously given on another thread from the OP. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6143330/uc-adult-daughter-living-with-us#latest

Apparently it's because I am an owner occuier and are not applying for housing costs.  So I don't need to declare.  That's why I wasn't asked.

Yes that does make sense. If you kept all your questions in one thread then it will be easier to advise, it's very difficult to keep up when you start a new thread for each question. I did mention non dependent deductions in another thread of yours and i also included a link for that.

Other people who live with you as non dependants are only relevant because they are expected to contribute towards the rent and therefore reduce the amount of the housing element. If you are not claiming the housing element because you are not renting they have no impact on your entitlement.

Sorry but on my previous thread I was told I must have missed the question.  That's why I posted today a screenshot of what I had received as I still did not understand.  For someone who has never claimed anything I find the the whole thing extremely complicated  upsetting.

That's because you started a thread asking that question and you were given the correct advice based on the information you gave. I have no idea whether you stated in any thread that you're a home owner and if you did then i don't remember.

Lots of people post here and it's very difficult to remember everything about everyone that posts. Even more so if you start a new thread every time you ask a question related to the same thing. I did put a link up in a previous thread which explained what non dependent deductions were. If you had read it then you would have had some idea that it wouldn't apply to you.
