First ever post on MSE so be kind I moved into a small ground-floor flat on March 10th just before it all hit the ceiling. My bedroom is practically right next to the front door and my beds next to the wall bordering outside, it was raining earlier and I noticed after it’d stopped there were a few water drops on the wall and a section of the wall felt damp, it’s strange because it’s only the section beneath the bed-frame/beneath the window that’s feeling the damp, the wall in general feels hollow (so I’m assuming it’s drywall? Correct me if I’m wrong) And the outside... well I have no clue what the walls made of if I’m completely honest
, I live in Fife Scotland if that makes any difference at all... I will attach pictures, of the area inside and outside (the patches are behind the compost bags) and the water drops. If you think there’s a case to get an expert in I’ll try and see what I can do once this all clears up a bit, thanks!

I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along later but the first action I would do is move the compost bags. They will be holding water above the damp proof course and this will be part of the issue
A pic of the whole wall may help too to see if there are any issues with guttering etc higher up0 -
