Refunds onto cancelled credit card

Hi there

Does anyone know what happens if a credit card is cancelled before refunds which are due are paid back onto the card?

I have received a letter from Creation Financial Services saying that they were dissolving the relationship with Asda credit card. The card will be cancelled in July. I am expecting a few thousand pounds of refunds for holidays which have already been (and some I’m almost sure will be later in the summer) cancelled.

Does anyone know what happens to these refunds?

I’ve already sent Creation Financial Services an email to check but it’s been 5 days so far & nothing back yet. Their phone lines are crazy busy.
