Bank Account - Overseas

Can anyone suggest the best provider for a bank account for use at home AND overseas? Bearing in mind Covid19, I think I would have been re-assured if I knew I could bank easily if I had been overseas. I know they all have 'partners' but has anyone any better suggestions? Santander for instance is free to use in Spain...but...... Many thanks
