Cahoot debit card

I went into the city today and went to use my Cahoot debit card, which is part of Abbbey. I entered my pin and selected the option for cash. I pressed the amount required and then without any reason the card was kept and no money. Fortunately I had my Lloyds debit card and that worked fine.

When I returned home I phoned Cahoot and could not understand why this would have happened. They subsequently blocked the card and will be sending out a new one.

I was wandering if this may have anything to do with their new computer system and would interesting to know if anyone else has had these problems.
