SEISS grant query - can you help me?

I got my grant through this morning and i got less than i had anticipated, which confused me. I think i know why but wondered if you someone can explain if everythings been done correctly.

ive been self employed since feb 2017, so was only self employed for part of that tax year (16/17). Is the 50% earnings worked out year on year or my total income from my self employment for the last 3 years?
It looks like my self employed income from 16/17 has been divided by 12. As I only worked for 3 months, should my income have been divided by 3?

hope someone can help explain this for me
