Double8 Tickets - any chance of refund due from cancelled gig?

My daughter bought and paid (using a debit card) for tickets for a Gig in April this year, the gig was cancelled by the artist due to covid.
So quite expensive!
Anyone know anything about getting any kind of refund from such people?

Has she contacted them? Their website does at least say she'd be entitled to a refund of the face value (whatever that is). If that falls far short of what she paid then I think that's unfortunately the risk of buying from touts.

Sigh....another tout question.
Make sure your daughter knows never to buy from touts in future. As davidmcn says, there is a risk she may struggle to get all or even some of her money back. There's also the possibility that if she's not the original purchaser, she might be refused entry at the venue anyway. An increasing number of artists are tightening up on re-selling.
