Very brief unarranged overdraft on credit score

Hi all,
I recently went into my unarranged overdraft for one day. I was charged £5. The very next day, I had a positive balance on my account, after I had realised my mistake. What would the impact of this event be on my credit score?

Thank you!

you'll have to obtain a copy of your credit file to see.

The bank may have reported it to your credit files, they may not. We won't know.

It can take eight weeks for the adverse information to appear on your credit file if they have reported it.

Thank you for your reply! Do you think that the MSE Credit Club report will show this? Also, if the bank has reported it to the relevant credit rating agencies, is there any way of me rectifying the issue?

Would an entry showing you using your overdraft be an accurate recording of the facts? If so then no. If people are able to start to go and get banks, credit card companies, utilities etc to go and remove entries just because they decide to pay off their debts once the negatives start to have sufficient unwanted impact then it makes the whole integrity of credit records worthless to lenders as it gives a distorted view of how a person runs their finances.
