HPF Credit Agreement

We bought a bed from carpet right and paid via HPF over 12 months.
£849.99 total.
12 payments of £70.83
Total repayments £849.96
Final payment is due in 2 weeks. The final payment is listed as the usual 70.83. If I click on 'settle agreement' that is also 70.83.
Im tempted to settle then make a seperate payment of 3p.although unsure if that is possible.
I'll contact them when possible but wondered if anyone had any insight into this here.
Thanks

Why do you want to pay an extra 3p?0
-
70.83 x 12 leaves my total balance with an outstanding 3p0

Probs best to settle up over the phone to ensure you're paying the right amount in that case.0

+1. This has the possibility of turning into one of those farcical situations due to automation and a 3p outstanding balance.

Don't leave it to chance. If there is the odd 0.3p left to pay you could find yourself in a while heap of interest.Call and get a full and final settlement figure, the agents name, make the payment and ask for a follow-up email/letter to confirm complete account settlement. Also, don't leave this until the last mintue to do... I would even suggest paying somewhat early to allow for some wriggle room for any "mistakes" that could arise.Good luck!0
