Argos - Nintendo Switch ordered since March, not delivered but they've been selling them online.

Can anyone advise please? LIke a lot of other people, I was trying to buy a Nintendo Switch when Covid hit so back in March I ordered one for delivery from Argos. They failed to deliver, I asked them repeatedly "have you actually got stock" to which the answer was yes and so we re-arranged the delivery and then it didn't show up again. I rightly suspected they didn't have stock as everyone was selling out fast and it was too late to buy one from anywhere else. Resigned to waiting due to the Covid pandemic, i left the order as I was assuming none would be imported but have been occasionally checking updates on stock for the UK.
I saw this week that the Sun had a story about Argos having limited stock for the Nintendo Switch and on Twitter there's quite a number of people who have bought one in the last week or so. I thought they would have fulfilled existing orders before selling them online as they've had my several hundred pounds for over 2 months now.
I've been trying to get hold of Argos customer services for days but the only option is online chat which I can't get onto or eventually times out. Can anyone advise?
If they have been selling stock coming in when they have my money to fulfll an order I think it's a terrible way to behave ethically, but do I have any additional rights here?
Any help and advice greatly appreciated!
